He take care of us (me and my child) much older, established, grown sons and a wife.  Did she care?  Did she have regards for his wife?  My bills ​are being meet; even though I have my own job, extra money never hurts (drug money mostly).  All she had to do was meet him on Saturday and Sundays mornings.  She could not stand his touch, old man; she never stayed for the whole session, she had to get out of there or get high before she went.  Why am I doing this? I am no prostitute she would tell herself as she drove away  with two to three hundred dollars in her pocket.  But was she?

How we squandered Gods gifts, mock his tenderness, disregard his mercy and allowed ourselves to be seduced by other lovers. Can you sense God trying to shake you awake to your sins? How we ignored his threats and shrugged them off as so many flies on a donkey. God is waiting for us to turn back to him. (Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord. Acts 3:19.

We are unfaithful but God forgives; He hates our sins, but loves us still. Even when we abandon him and turn away, he waits for us with arms opened. He only asks our repentance and his blessings will flow again.
